Which data can be recovered?
We recover the fee-for-service billing files, account statements and calculation explanations available for your account directly from the RAMQ. In most cases, fee-for-service billing can be recovered in full, but some exceptions may limit the available files. We check your account with you. This covers files available from the RAMQ, rather than a complete copy of your previous software’s database.
How much time should I allow for the migration?
For one physician, the environment can usually be ready within a day. Migration takes longer for an agency with several professionals. The timing depends on the number of physicians, the volume of data to recover and the availability of RAMQ services. We assess your situation with you to plan migration and training.
How do I organize my billing software change?
Setup is planned with you based on your situation and the time needed to recover available RAMQ files. Tell us your preferred transition date so we can prepare the steps together. Our team supports your first billing submissions with PARAM.
Can I use both the desktop and Web versions?
Yes. PARAM is a complete platform that lets you choose the Windows desktop version, the Web version or both, depending on your needs. We help you get started in your chosen environment.
Can I bill from a Mac?
Yes. PARAM Web lets you bill through your browser on Mac or PC.
Will I receive help with my first billing submissions?
Yes. Our team helps with setup, trains you to use PARAM and supports your first billing submissions. Support is available by phone, email and remote connection.
